FINDING YOUR ENTREPRENEURIAL SPIRIT

Becoming a successful, young entrepreneur can be challenging. Do you think that we all have the skills needed to be an entrepreneur?

Take a realistic view of your strengths and weaknesses: capability, aptitude, personality... and let’s see your entrepreneurial abilities.

Task: 1 Individually make a list of what you consider to be your best abilities. Upload it to your group drive because you will need the list later on.

Do you have the knowledge and experience required to succeed?

Entrepreneurship is a team activity that requires the involvement of people with different abilities and profiles to achieve success. It is important to understand that challenges that seems complex for a single person can be addressed much more  easily and quickly by a team.

Although an entrepreneur may assume the role of leader, for an idea to be successful, it is always necessary to have a team of people that believe in it. Teamwork is much more effective than individual work, especially with regard to innovative challenges.

Task 2: Look again at the 5 examples of different cases of entrepreneurship from the previous task. As a group, use them to see the number of people with different abilities needed for each project to succeed. You’ll see that an entrepreneurial attitude is not something exclusive and remote from your daily lives. Not everyone approaches entrepreneurship in the same way. Make a list of the abilities and upload it to your group drive.

Task 3: You will have 5 minutes to imagine, individually, what other 10 different uses you can give a tennis ball. You can  manipulate it: cutting it, making a hole in it, etc. Then share your ideas with your group.  Fill in the following document and upload it to your drive

Task 4: Creating the team: Now you are ready to create your team. Have a look at the different roles and then assign responsibilities to each member.

Each member of the group will be assigned one main role (the role that you must try to play at all times) and another secondary one (supports the person who has this role as their main role).

Remember that once you have a role, you will have more responsibility at certain times. In each module of the process, one of the roles will be more significant, but don’t forget that you have to take part in all of the activities.

Once given the roles, name your team. Remember to use your imagination and creativity!!! Fill in the following document and upload it to your group drive.
